Winter from Vivaldi's "The Seasons" is the source of the beautiful Largo. This setting is a piece for all seasons as well as for multiple combinations of handbells, handchimes, and keyboard. A chordal 2-3 octave version may be rung alone, with provided keyboard accompaniment, or in combination with the 2-6 octave version. The 2-6 octave version may be rung alone or with the 2-3 octave version. When rung alone, the 2-6 octave edition is especially beautiful when played entirely on handchimes, without the octave doubling of the treble bells.
