Beautifully presented
The book of sheet music is very well-bound, and should last a long time of proper use. The scores are clearly printed, and everything is easy on the eyes. There is an introductory biography of the composer included (one would wish a photo or even an artist's sketch of the composer as well). The music is one of my favourites.

Delightful Book of Kuhlau Sonatinas
I enjoy very much playing sonatinas. They tell a story. They also generally have much variety regarding technique, style, expression, mood and sometimes, form. Over the years, I had learned one or two Kuhlau sonatinas. This book now gives me the opportunity to expand upon that repertoire. If an aspiring pianist wishes to avoid study books for improving pianistic technique, then turning to a book such as the Kuhlau sonatinas is a wonderful alternative. Technique is marvelously embedded in the music. I also took the time to research a bit about this composer and I highly recommend that aspiring pianists do such research as a matter of course at all times.

Mileage!
I have gotten so much use out of this book! It really gets you working on your scales in context. It is a great stepping stone on the way to playing classical sonatas and more difficult works. The pieces are wonderful to listen as well! They would be welcome in a student recital setting.
