In december 1878 Le Beau started the orchestral work Konzert Ouvreture op. 23. At this time her two-year classes with Joseph G. Reinberger already finished. Her intensive and autodidactic studies at the Bavarian State Library on different symphonic works made her an expert of orchestration and the Konzert Ouverture op. 23 is her first work for a large orchestra. Soon followed the fantasy for piano and orchestra op. 25, the piano concert op. 37, the symphony op. 41, the symphonic poem op. 43 and as well oratiorial worksoratorische Werke and one opera. The premiere was a remarkebale sucess and took place on the 15th october of 1882 in Baden-Baden. Le Beau dedicated her work to the Grand Duke Friedrich I and the Grand Duchess Luise of Baden.
