Jerusalem (in key of F) by Sean O'boyle Orchestra - Digital Sheet Music

By Sean O'boyle

"And did those feet in ancient time" is a short poem by William Blake from the preface to his epic Milton a Poem, which was published in 1808. Today it is best known as the anthem "Jerusalem", with music written by Sir Hubert Parry in 1916. Since 2004, it has been the anthem of the England cricket team, being played before each day of their home test matches, and is regularly sung by Rugby Union crowds and a featured Anthem in the ceremonies of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup. This arrangement was commissioned by the English & Wales Cricket Board for the "Ashes" (a bi-annual cricketing tournament England vs Australia), recorded by tenor Seán Ruane with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the choir Tenebrae.
