This meditative and uplifting piece for flute and organ (intermediate level) works equally well as a prelude to the service, or as a part of the service itself - say, as a meditation.
In many liturgical traditions solo music/duets are not allowed during Lent. In the past however I have used it as background music to liturgical movement or liturgical drama, for example, during Ash Wednesday and even on Good Friday.
Having said that, this work is not focused specifically on Lent and is in fact perfect for any time of year.
