Beautiful music, delivered as promised
Of course the Henle Verlag is a terrific edition from start to finish. But I want to add that SheetMusicPlus made everything easy, delivered in a timely manner, and use non-plastic (paper) packaging which is also good for the planet. Kudos for SheetMusicPlus.

Clear print, stays open!
Nice, clear print on each page. The pages stay flat when opened (not always the case!).

Henle
Henle produces the best editions of classical music in my opinion. This edition of Schubert impromptus and Moment Musicaux is no exception. I have played most of the Impromptus for years, but the alternative fingerings in this edition has helped me reinterpret some passages. The dynamics editing is always well researched and reliable .The print is clear and large, the page turns are in logical places, and the binding is strong so that when you turn a page it rarely flips back- something that can be very frustrating for the pianist. It is well worth the extra costs compared to other editions.

Walter Gieseking--Schubert Impromptus
Gieseking conducted master classes at the conservatory in Saarbrucken, Luxembourg (early 50s). I marveled at his hands and technique. This volume is a treasure; work at his fingerings to get close to his fabled tone.

Impromptus and Moments Musicaux
I am very happy with this edition and its notations for fingering. The editor's suggestions regarding ornaments in the appendix are helpful as well
