Published by Haydon Harvey (A0.1012003).The Horse Head Nebula is part of a series of piano pieces called the Nebula Preludes and is the 2nd piece in the series. The actual horse head nebula is rather interesting as the formation that resembles a horses head makes up a very small part of the nebula. The nebula as a whole is rather globular with no apparent pattern as one can often see in a nebula.
Like the first piece in the series, the Horse Head Nebula is also a piece rather heavy with octave playing but there is a nice mix of chordal and finger work in it. It is a short piece of music just under 2 min.
Care must be taken not to bash out the notes especially during the more energetic sections.
