Two days later, here is my arrangement for 4 guitars (or large ensemble).UK TV viewers also know the music as the backing for Jet2 Holiday’s TV ads.The music is deliberately accessible to intermediate players, but a full-speed performance needs more advanced players. But then again, the sweet sound of the Classical Guitar means that a more leisurely rendition works beautifully.If playing from paper (rather than a tablet), there is a page turn in each part, but this has been chosen where there are rests in the music. Guitars 1,3 and 4 need to play pages 1&2, then turn over to reveal pages 3&4.Guitar 2 needs to play page 1, then turn over to pages 2&3, then turn over page 4.Guitar 1 follows the more elaborate and high-up-the-neck version of the tune right at the end, but a reprise of earlier and easier version of the tune is printed as an alternative.The rhythm will take a little bit of rehearsal, but the reward is a complex sounding and powerful piece of music.I hope you enjoy playing this piece!"This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts.
