Es stellt einen Extrakt aus dem zweiten Satz meines Konzerts fur Akkordeon und Ensemble dar, das Stefan Hussong 1999 in Saarbrucken uraufgefuhrt hat. Das Akkordeon wird in diesem Stuck als eine Art High-Speed-Instrument eingesetzt, das von Beginn bis zum Ende der Komposition in standiger Bewegung bleibt und niemals anhalt, niemals eine Pause einlegt. Schnelle Akkord-Tremolandi, sirenenartige Ton-Glissandi, Staccatissimo-Repetitionen wie auch rasche Doppeltriller und Skalenlaufe sorgen fur eine dichte, wilde, fast schon chaotische Atmosphare, nicht unahnlich der auf einem tatsachlichen Highway wahrend der Rushhour.
