    He Is Risen! Risen Indeed!

    This is an energetic original composition combined with a traditional hymn. We used it this past Easter, and it worked well as a combined Call to Worship by the choir and Opening Hymn for the congregation. The brass parts demand quick tonguing which presents a bit of a challenge, depending on your players. Although I prefer to use slightly different words (i.e. Jesus Christ is ris'n today... instead of Christ the Lord is ris'n today...), I'm sure that we will use this piece again in the future.
