Happy End In Agrabah by Alan Menken Piano Solo - Digital Sheet Music

By Alan Menken

Happy End in Agrabah

'Happy End in Agrabah' is the score for the finale sequence of Disney's animated classic, Aladdin (1992). In homage to the Disney fairytale adaptations which came before it, the film closes with the Disney Chorus singing a reprise of the film's most iconic song, "A Whole New World", as Aladdin and Jasmine fly off on a magic carpet into the night. This score cue references character leitmotifs of Genie, Jasmine, Jafar and the Sultan, as well as reiterations of "A Whole New World" and "One Jump Ahead".Aladdin (1992) was the winner of 2 Academy Awards (best original score and best original song), with many more Oscar winnings to follow for Alan Menken. Orchestrations for Aladdin were done by Danny Troob and Michael Starobin, elevating Menken’s modern Broadway sensibility with rich, symphonic textures. This arrangement for solo piano is a reduction of the orchestrations, and is suited for Intermediate+ pianists. Chords are marked throughout, and the ending section with a chorus includes a separate staff for the vocal melody and lyrics. An additional staff is shown where relevent to denote additional instrumentation (for the performer's reference).Check out this arrangement on YouTube! (Channel: "Storybook & Overture Music")
