Michael Myer's Main theme from HALLOWEEN arranged by John Langley for Full Orchestra

This is the haunting main theme from the iconic and definitive 1978 slasher horror movie directed by John Carpenter who also wrote the music soundtrack. Starring Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis in her film debut, the film follows escaped mental patient Myers, who was committed to a mental institution for murdering his teenage sister on Halloween in the fictional Illinois town of Haddonfield; 15 years later, he returns to Haddonfield, where he stalks teenage babysitter Laurie Strode and her friends while his psychiatrist Dr. Samuel Loomis pursues him. The theme is itself very evocative and appropriately haunting.

This arrangement would suit an orchestra of good intermediate standard and would obviously suit an event of film music and of course Halloween or Horror.

The full orchestration (with all the instruments marked * below) is desirable for the full brooding effect but the score can be played with some of these additional instruments missing without adverse effect.
