Published by Melinda Moreaux (A0.876896).This is a treble choir arrangement of the traditional round "Grasshoppers Three". It's a fun sing with an optional solo part and sand block. The singers make grasshopper noises, and it's a fun addition to a spring choral concert. "Grasshoppers" based on the vocal improv workshops I've attended with Bobby McFerrin. Even though it's SSAA + solo, it's an easy learn because it's based on stacking chords and a round. It's been beautifully performed by The Piedmont East Bay Children's Chorus (Training Group), Beverly Vista Middle School Choir (Beverly Hills), and Solstice Female Vocal Ensemble. It was also a winner in the Holy Names University Kodàly Music Center's 2015 Alumni Choral Music competition. I hope you enjoy working with it. melindamoreaux.com.
