. The basis of this arrangement is the edition for tenor and piano by Agustín Lara with Spanish lyrics. It permitted a standalone orchestration for concert band without relationship to an existing orchestra version as with a transcription. Lara wrote this song on the Spanish town "Granada" in 1932. The arrangement of this version premiered with tenor Nutthaporn Thammathi and Wind Philharmonic Mozarteum Salzburg conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer on 6 January 2014 in the "Grosses Festspielhaus" (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television. Is was repeated in a slightly modified version with the same singer by Salzburg Wind Philharmonic conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their "Three Kings' Concert" on 6 January 2023, also in the "Grosses Festspielhaus" (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria and again broadcasted live by Austrian television.
