Composed by George W. Warren. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian. Score and parts. 10 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #32903. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953741).This arrangement of the popular Christian anthem "God of Our Fathers" is scored for Piano, two trumpets and two trombones. A Director’s score is also furnished. This is a two verse arrangement. The first verse is pretty straight-forward, featuring the piano as the lead instrument, with the brass providing the fanfare notes and the background---fills, runs, etc. The second verse is not so traditional---especially the brass fanfares, using unconventional chords within the fanfares, instead of the chords normally heard. During this verse, the brass are the lead instruments, with the piano primarily as the background instrument. This is probably a level 3 or 4 degree of difficulty for the piano part; the brass parts are probably about level 2.
