Solid Gershwin Duets for Performance
A reliable collection of Gershwin standards for piano duet gigs. The intermediate arrangements are recognizable and well-crafted, making them great for events. The harmonic clarity is excellent for improvisation, even without explicit chord symbols. Page turns are generally manageable across the 48 pages. Good for having a diverse repertoire of 20th-century classics readily available.

Pure Joy Playing Gershwin with a Friend!
Absolutely love this Gershwin Piano Duets book! As an adult learner, the intermediate (SMP Level 5) level is challenging but totally achievable. Playing these iconic George Gershwin standards like 'Summertime' and 'Love Is Here To Stay' with a friend is incredibly rewarding and sounds fantastic. It's so enjoyable and a great way to unwind. Highly recommend for pure musical fun!

Excellent Resource for Intermediate Students
This Hal Leonard collection is superb for intermediate piano duet students (SMP Level 4-5). The arrangements beautifully capture Gershwin's essence, challenging students with seventh chords and melodies across both hands, as well as ledger line reading. The clear engraving promotes good sight-reading and ensemble skills. A fantastic way to introduce classic 20th-century standards in a collaborative setting.

Gershwin piano duets
Quite difficult to play straight off -some practice required. Love the arrangements. Very interesting to play -either hand.You end up with some great chords using 8-10 notes at a time.Worth persevering for any Gershwin Fans.

George Gerswhin piano Duets
My daughter Stacey played these with her piano teacher in the 70's and loved them. I also taught piano but did not use it at the time. Now in retirement I am playing and performing these duets with a freind. My only wish would be that they were longer for performance.
