It should be seen as a stem: it can be played just as written, or e.g. drums can be added ad lib., and all fills can be changed as you like. The tenor parts were originally conceived for Horns, but they are easily adaptable for e.g. trombone with minor changes.This arrangement is well suited for motivated amateurs and pros alike!
