One of fifteen delightful and magical piano pieces from the album “YOUNG HEARTS.” The serene and captivating melody of GENTLE DREAMS offers a tranquil piano solo designed to lull children into a restful sleep. This soothing composition evokes a peaceful atmosphere, reminiscent of classic lullabies like Brahms' "Wiegenlied," providing a comforting bedtime experience.
Inspired by a deep love for original music, I composed this piece in 1994 while living in Sunnyvale, CA. Decades later, upon rediscovering boxes of some early manuscripts, I set out to record, transcribe, and arrange it into formal sheet music. My vision is for this music to pacify babies and serve as an engaging educational tool in classrooms for students from kindergarten through early elementary grades.
