This main theme builds up nicely to it climax, with the low brass section creating tension. This was a demanding arrangement, but I think I orchestrated it well and balanced it out enough to make it feel like in the series.
"Game of Thrones Theme", also referred to as "Game of Thrones Main Title Theme", is the theme music of HBO's fantasy television series Game of Thrones and its prequel House of the Dragon, and plays during title sequences to both shows. It was composed by Ramin Djawadi in 2011, after series creator David Benioff and D. B. Weiss approached him requesting a theme.
My name is Willem Aarts, and I have been arranging music since 2016. I play trombone and French horn myself, but I also love to transcribe existing music to several ensembles, from individual parts to full orchestra's and everything inbetween. It is always a challenge to add my own touch, but I try my very best with every arrangement I make!
