Composed by Traditional New England Reel. Arranged by Sandy McIntire. Celtic,Contest,Country,Festival,Folk,Instructional,Irish. Score and parts. 8 pages. Sandy McIntire #689979. Published by Sandy McIntire (A0.1085805).GALLOPEDE is a tune originally played by New England fiddlers for dances. Its name probably comes from the French word, gallopade, meaning to gallop in. The music lends itself to a boisterous gallivant across the dance floor. This package contains a score and a separate sheet of music for each instrument. This arrangement is for a STRING TRIO (two violins and a cello) for INTERMEDIATE players. Other folk tunes arranged by McIntire for string ensembles include Flowers of Edinburgh and Ash Grove, available also at this web site.
This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
