Bass Trombone hasn't a significant solistic repertoire, often confined in orchestral roles. So I decided, on the request of Mascoulisse Quartet's member, Stefano Belotti, to compose a concert piece for this instrument. The "Fantasia" for Bass Trombone and Piano is a combination of Lied-form and Sonata-Form.
