I'm sure the arrangements of these pieces are nice but the quality of the book is not great. The notes are printed blurry and often so squished together it's hard to read. I was very disappointed by the quality of the printing of the book.

This is a great book that includes a mix of classical and some well known popular numbers such as Turkey in the Straw. The English folksong, Country Gardens, has a great arrangement and is fun to play. (I didn't know the song by that name, but it will be recognized by almost everyone after one measure!) My cousin and I are both delighted and can't believe we found such a great collection in one book. We definitely recommend it.

My aunt and I played from this same anthology 50+ years ago; my copy was missing the last page of the Poet and the Peasant Overture and everything after it. The pages were falling out, and I was afraid to use it (having finally finding a Secundo partner with whom to play after all these years). But -- YOU HAD THE BOOK! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
