    Still one of the best

Not the newest method, but in my opinion the best, spite all the modern books I used. The logic way it builds up the difficulties, even in every single peace of music.

    Etudes, Op. 32 - Book 1

As a teacher of many years, I find this book to be full of great exersizes for a later beginning 1st position student who is ready for an introduction to full pages of assorted bow, time signature, and rhythm technics. There are so many places where the teacher can instruct in bow control while teaching finger proficency. From there I take them to Wohlfahrt studies. .
