Intro is in 4/4 time and changes to 3/4 time in A section. RH carries single-note melody in A section with Alberti bass accompaniment. B section introduces lovely, lyrical harmony of parallel thirds and sixths. Form: intro A B C A coda. Imaginative use of pedals as in the Romantic style, lots of dynamic shading. Great recital piece!
