Frederick (A0.1772555).“Dream a Little Dream of Me” is a jazz‑pop standard from 1930, written by Fabian Andre and Wilbur Schwandt (music) with lyrics by Gus Kahn, and it has since become one of the most recorded songs of the 20th century.
The best‑known version today is the 1968 recording by Cass Elliot (Mama Cass) with the Mamas & the Papas, which became a major hit and effectively her signature song, reportedly selling millions of copies worldwide. Other notable versions include recordings by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, Doris Day, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Michael Bublé, and many more,
