Danza Rusticana by Elliot Del Borgo Full Orchestra - Sheet Music
By Elliot Del BorgoIn the style of a Middle European folk dance, this vigorous and energetic piece is somewhat reminiscent of the style of Bela Bartok with a gritty bowing style that should produce a big, solid tone. A rewarding piece for the students to play and the audience to hear. Playable by a full orchestra or just the string section.

I found this app very easy to find and access, although that might have been because my conductor provided the link. I play Danza Rusticana in my Youth Symphony, and I was told to listen to this song by my conductor. I really like this piece, and recommend March of the Meistersingers by Richard Wagner, The Abduction from the Seraglio by W. A. Mozart, and Radetzky March by Johann Strauss. I have been playing viola for two and a half years now, and very much enjoy classical music. I have listened to and practiced this piece so many times in the last few days that I have been playing it in my sleep. It was great.
