Marie-Juliette Olga "Lili" Boulanger (; 21 August 1893 – 15 March 1918) was a French composer and the first female winner of the Prix de Rome composition prize.
Most often performed in the version for cello and piano, the orchestral version of "D'un soir triste" was one of Boulanger's last completed manuscripts before her early death.
This edition has been prepared from a copy of the composer's original manuscript.
