Detailed Description

Composed by Joseph Stribrny. This edition: pdf. 21st Century, Contemporary, Film/TV. 72 pages. Joseph Stribrny #1397570. Published by Joseph Stribrny (A0.1838009)."I just felt like writing a fanfare for the concert band setting. I have various inspirations from film and gaming that are likely obvious standouts in this work. I envision this being a rousing opener to a concert band performance, but I trust any conductor/eductor worth their salt to program it well outside of those confines."
The harmonies are quite traditional with this work. The real details are in the rhythmic subdivisions. The pulse itself is rather slow, but each instrument has its own world of rhythmic value under it. To master rhythmic subdivision is to master this piece.
This work follows the traditional idea of the brass being the foundational sound with the woodwinds providing color.
Purchase includes a comprehensive PDF file of the score and all parts.
