This is a bossa nova lead sheet for a jazz or Latin band, with a singer.  It's useful as the basis for a variety of arrangements, contrafacts and improvisations.

The audio sample is a jazz bossa nova accompaniment from iReal Pro combined with a Finale PrintMusic tune.

This piece of music honors a sports pub, Cogan's, in the composer's home town, where there's a jazz jam every Monday evening: Fun times listening to creative musicians and enjoying good food and drink.

The first 32 bars present the basic tune, with lyrics, and the second 32 bars exemplify what can be done in terms of improvisations or contra facts.

Come to Cogan's, if you want to hear
Good jazz while you drink a beer,
Or coke, if you want to stay sober,
