"Coenantibus autem illis" is a communion motet by Jaun de Lienas arranged for brass quintet. De Lienas was an indigenous Mexian composer and choirmaster who lived and worked during the seventeenth century. Little else is known about him. The flowing lines and dignified counterpoint of this motet transition grandly to brass. Perfect for Communion Sundays or Maundy Thursday.
