Classical themes
This book is best used with a metronome. The key signatures are limited to C, G, F, Bb. The songs grow more complex in rhythm & phrasing very slowly over the course of the book, but never move beyond an intermediate level. Pleasant to work with. But of little use without a metronome.

THE Recorder Book
If I had to live with only one book of recorder music this would be it. It has a large collection of good music from easy to difficult. No, there aren't any duets or ensemble pieces. This book is for someone sitting around the house playing recorder. Usually easy pieces are boring but Mr. Puscoiu has good taste in choosing easy songs that sound well on the recorder. As in every book you will not like all of the pieces but if you like baroque to classical music you will find a lot here to play.
