"Christ lag in Todesbanden" ("Christ lay in death’s bonds", BWV 278), the prominent famous two-part chorale that vividly illustrates the transition from the profound suffering to the overwhelming joy; here in an arrangement for four Saxophones (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone); the phrasing follows the syllabation of the german lyrics and the original score, while dynamics are an interpretation of mine.
