Composed by Rich Campbell. Children,Contemporary,Graduation,Holiday. Octavo. 12 pages. Pay The Band Music #3259467. Published by Pay The Band Music (A0.826996)."Celebrate A New Day," is an uptempo, rhythmic piece that was composed for the 75th Anniversary of the Australian Boys Choir. It is ideal for special occasions like graduations and is suitable for all young treble choirs, mixed children’s choirs, as well as boys and girls choirs. The work received the "Audience Favorite" award at its Melbourne premiere and is a crowd-pleaser, fun for the choir and a great concert opener (or closer). The opening section features an empowering and inspirational text. Midway through the piece the title is sung repeatedly over challenging harmonies. This gives way to a joyous "echo" section containing just about every word that rhymes with Celebrate, culminating in a majestic finale.
