Finally Playing 'Cavatina' from The Deer Hunter!
I've always wanted to play Stanley Myers' Cavatina, and this sheet music makes it possible! The combination of tablature and standard notation is perfect for an adult learner like me. It's an intermediate piece, so it's challenging but totally achievable with a bit of practice. I can already hear myself 'sounding like the record.' Such a beautiful, relaxing piece to learn after a long week.

Cavatina
Beautiful piece of music. I never learned to read tab. I'd prefer standard notation. For us low level guitar players we need more fingering notes. There are a few, but I'd like more. I've played Campo by Abel Carlevaro that had it all worked out -- i m a -- 1 2 3 4 fingers -- strings. But, what the heck -- I'm an adult, I'll just go through it measure by measure w/ a pencil -- that 'll keep me out of drunken bar fights!

I had been using Internet downloads to learn this lovely, haunting piece but so much nicer to have this easy to read complete form and three pages wide when you open it up and for a nominal price.

Arrangement is challenging for small hands.
I am a female player with small hands and I found that some of the chords are impossible for me to grab. I'm going to have to try and alter some of them, because some sections are fine. Just to keep in mind when you order this piece.
