One of Brahms's most noble and beautiful melodies is presented here transposed to the key of C for the intermediate pianist. This is performed by one of my piano students (Deems Johnson) on his own piano which he describes as a half step low , out of tune and old as the hills, "just like me, he says, and still id rather play on this than one of those new fangled e-lectronic "tinker- toy pianos".
