A pianist skilled in score reading could read the full score and perform all the parts. The most practical arrangement would be to have a cellist (or trombonist) perform the cello part with a pianist performing the accompaniment. This is written for all of us who love this cello solo from the Brahms 2nd piano concerto but up to this point never had a short practical transcription to experience it for ourselves.
