This work was originally intended for the duo of Nancy Knowles (composer and vocalist) and Frank Wallace (guitarist and vocalist). Inspired by a chant melody and text, Nancy created the text for this six movement work. I composed all of the music. In order to make the piece available to instrumentalists, I have recast it for English Horn, Bassoon and Guitar. Between Light and Dark, The Spirit Dances Duration: 26'. Year of Composition: 2006 The six movements are as follows: I. Look for Me, Come! II. Without You, I Am Not III. A Divine Breath Moves All IV. To See How the Wind Shakes Them V. Dear, Let Me Pass VI. PlayMe, I Will Sing
