A late night improvisation on the piano, about 4 minutes long. Romantic drama and beautiful harmonies! Technically not a particularly difficult piece to learn.

I started out wanting to write a piece in the style of the theme from the movie "The Notebook". I improvised a rough sketch first, which I then orchestrated (you can find a recording of the orchestral version on YouTube), but it ended up in a bit of a different genre than first intended. After doing the orchestral version, I made this piano solo version, trying to get back to the original thought.
