My favorite lyric in this piece is the first line of the chorus: "Be the ground beneath my feet, when I must walk but I can't see." There are times in life when our world implodes, and the breath is knocked out of us spiritually. It can feel like we are stepping off a cliff, and praying that God puts firm ground beneath our feet. This song is a prayer for those moments, that even at our most desperate, we can still cling to faith in the grace and goodness of God.
