My best-selling rag from the Scott Joplin store in Sedalia, Missouri, "Barnstormer Rag" is the first of the "Roseburg Rags" dedicated to Keith Taylor and the Cascade Ragtime Society. The four piece suite was inspired by my trips to the Cascade Ragtime Festival in Roseburg, Oregon. The original cover contained an inset photo of famed barnstormer Ormer Locklear and his quote, "My motto is safety second!" From 2006.
