Barcarole (The Tales of Hoffman) for voice and classical guitar by Jacques Offenbach Small Ensemble - Digital Sheet Music

From the opera The Tales of Hoffman by Jacques Offenbach, the Barcarole arranged for soprano voice and classical guitar, with a score and separate guitar part, arranged by John Pinno. Alternatively, this could be performed as an instrumental piece with either flute, violin, or oboe taking the soprano part. This piece is usually set for soprano and mezzo-soprano, along with accompaniment, and in this arrangement the soprano begins with what is normally sung by the mezzo, and later switches to the soprano part, and then the guitar begins including the mezzo part in the accompaniment.This would be an ideal piece for a voice (or violin, flute, or oboe) recital, if a collaboration with a guitarist is desired.
