Arise and escape endless doom.

Come forth on this morn, this glorious day,

For Jesus has shown us the way.


Come forth and be joined, miraculously.

Shout praises of sweet victory.

For death does not last; the grave will succumb.

The war is eternally won.


Awake and arise! The morning is here

When trumpets are sounded so clear.

Forever all peace and joy intertwine,

For body and spirit to bind.


Come forth, O come forth! Our praises proclaim,

For Jesus has etched his great name.

Triumphantly called our Savior and Friend,

Our gratitude never will end.
