Bach's Art of the Fugue, his final work, is a summation of his contrapuntal technique that has dazzled musicians and been the subject of endless debate over its purpose and the medium for which it was intended. A brilliant arrangement/edition of Art of the Fugue, parts are presented clearly and are easy to read. Marked above certain sections of the music are markings that indicate who is playing the subject, which is incredibly helpful, especially when learning it for the first time.
