By Alberto Orefici. For Bassoon and Piano. Orefici was a student of Jancourt at the Paris Conservatory. He followed his teacher?s example by composing the well-known Melodic Studies and Bravura Studies for bassoon. It is not widely known that Orefici composed several pieces for solo bassoon and piano. This Adagio was originally published in Paris in the first decade of the twentieth century.
