The flute as well as the organ provide additional "voices" that illuminate the text. Each phrase of the text is treated in a subtly different manner, all reflective of the flexibility of chant. The central section can be sung by children's choir or soprano solo and the final phrases are given to all voices with a rich harmonic support from the organ. There is also a flute part available.
