This masterful arrangement begins with solo voice - placing humanity at the center. The cello is the expression of the soul beyond words - here on earth. The piano is heavenly realm. Brandon Haynes has given the voice the place of yearning from here for what is beyond. As with life, there are moments of contemplation...moments of longing...moments of fear...moments of pain...moments of hope...moments beyond words where only a moan can express the yearning. Brandon is an absolute master at creating arrangements that transcend, express the plight of our souls and deal honestly with pain - never leaving us without hope.
