Composed by Hans Cafmeyer. 20th Century,Contemporary,Standards. Score. 13 pages. Hans Cafmeyer #3133561. Published by Hans Cafmeyer (A0.882943)."as the atoms are the building blocks of the universe, so are the intervals the building blocks of all music", is the subtitle of the 7 atomics i wrote between 1993 and 1995; each work is written with a specific interval in mind, as well harmonic (vertical) as melodic (horizontal) starting with the second up to the octave (& unisono); they're pedagogical in that they develop the hearing of a child and are great fun to play, fit for exams; some accomplished pianists have played and recorded them; originally they were part of my "99 studietti e pezzetti" (99 little pieces and little studies) of which some have now been revised, others were deleted; they can be heard, played by myself on my YouTube channel that has my name: hans cafmeyer 7 atomics.
