This piano course contains some of the richest, most artistic music I have seen in a piano method in a long time. It offers a welcome relief to the I IV V7 same old same old stuff you get in most of the other ones. The pieces lean to the contemporary style, but they are not so avant-garde that one cannot appreciate them.I prefer to use this material in a supplemental way, as the pedagogy is rather lack luster. But I know of very few courses that offer the student as rewarding a collection of artistic pieces that make paying attention to the small details all worthwhile.
