I'm a moderately advanced player, and I find this book extremely disappointing. A number of the tunes I really wanted are so simplified they are ridiculous. If you're a beginner player you might like it, but I'm insulted by nothing but single whole and half notes in the LH, and a single note melody in the RH. Other songs are more difficult, but they're just unnecessarily awkward rather than a fuller arrangement. I have other, much better arrangements of a lot of these. Finally, the print quality is poor. Especially on the classical pieces, the printed notes run together with the staff, the font is too small, and it just looks weird on the page. Unfortunately I've already used it and can't return it, but if you haven't already bought it, look for these songs elsewhere, especially if you're a more advanced player.

I bought this for a couple of specific songs. I don't like that other books like this all contain pretty much the same songs. I will think harder before I buy another one like this book. I will have to check my inventory.

An excellent book of piano solos with interesting variety. It will give me hours of joy when playing the many solos.

Although the selection is nice, the music is too sparsely arranged to be playable in a performance (other than recitals). The non-classical pieces are pretty simple, and I would not be comfortable playing them in public due to their simple arrangements. The quality of the printing for the classical music is rather sub-standard.

I don't know why i bought this book because i usually like having words to sing, but i haven't actually regretted buying it. it has a great collection of songs for such a small book, but i personally wouldn't have chosen some of the movie ones they have chosen. If you're looking to start a decent music collection this would be a good place to start but if you're really serious i think you'd invest in individual books of each of the genres present here. commendable, but you probably don't NEED it.

I found this book a very interesting collection with a variety of piano solos. I would not list this as advanced, because many of the arrangements were not very full. If you have knowledge of chords and can fill in what is missing then it is and nice collection.

I really like the variety of different genres of songs in this book. So many collections are all class ice or all show tunes,etc. It is fun to have the Forrest Gump theme and Stardust and Clair de Lune in the same volume.Difficulty varies a bit, too. Some things I can almost sight read. Others are old favorites that come back quickly or fresh arrangements of things that I've never worked up.I'm enjoying this music.

This book has a little of everything from classical to popular and show tunes. It's a good compilation and the description as advanced intermediate is a good one. I've played piano since I was 9 years old with years off inbetween and am now enjoying it more in retirement.
