We Are Not Alone by Pepper Choplin 4-Part - Sheet Music
By Pepper ChoplinThis anthem touches the heart with its reassuring message of God's faithfulness and power. Incredible effect with the background of the rhythmic repetition by the choir and the obligato solo soaring over the top. We had a tremendous amount of positive comments from the congregation . . . just what I needed . . . gave me such assurance . . .etc.

Easy to learn, rich-sounding. My small adult choir learned this in one rehearsal, and it rang beautifully in our sanctuary acoustics. Simple text of reassurance and encouragement suits many occasions. Some Taize-like repetition of the choral chant.Find the composer's workshop with this piece on YouTube to hear the correct tempo. (Not slow!)

This is a really cool a capella piece. The solo can be sung by any voice, male or female, even though it's marked for soprano (it's not especially high . . . I think that a bass or alto could sing the solo). Audiences and choirs both love this. Easy to learn, fun to perform. Great addition to your choir's library.
